stock switched 12V??

Im using the stock 12V switched power lead from the HK harness to switch my aftermarket A/D/S amp. Obviously the line is switched to the ignition in my case, as the amp remains on regardless of powered up HU. Is this right, or shouldnt it be switched to HU power??

It's right.

Or at the very least it's the same way I hooked up my a/d/s amp.
