Where do I find the videos?

1. Jump on our website at www.bavsound.com and choose which product you are interested in.
2. There are a series of tabs for FAQs, Install Info, and finally Videos. Click the Video tab.
3. A list of the available videos will be displayed with a brief description of what the video is about. Click on the video you'd like to watch!
4. If there is not a video tab we have not yet uploaded and setup that products videos. Be patient, we are working on it!

does this work with the iphone? I bought a case for my iphone that came w/ a universal dock connector. is it possible to install this dock connetor in conjunction w/ the dice kit?

also - if you plug the dice kit into a apple dock, and place your iphone/ipod into the dock, will it output sound through the dice kit?

Yes it does. We actually have at the end of the first video posted it goes over exiting out of accessory mode.

Yes it is. The connector will install into the spec.dock.

hmm I have the DICE kit and when you plug the iphone into it, it says you must go into airplane mode...it plays the music but does not allow you to control using the steering wheel controls or headunit like it does with my ipod....you guys plan on making these compatible with phone use as well?..for example being able to control thrugh the headunit and when someone calls you push the phone button on the steering wheel and it answers? that would be impressive.

I'll be happy to answer this for you.

The touch, new Classic and 3rd Generation nano lock the iPod's Clickwheel when attached to 3rd party devices, this is an iPod-specific issue - not the DICE.

Earlier iPods do not experience this issue. All DICE-specific features are still available. If Clickwheel operation is desired, you can set the DICE module's DIP switches to Simple iPod mode to gain access of the Clickwheel, but will lose text display on the radio when doing so.

We're in development with DICE to see if there is a way around this, but there is a grey area on what can be followed while complying with the "Made for iPod" program.

hah wow, ok I bought my DICE kit last year..did not pay anything for an upgrade kit or anything, and it was way before the IPhone came out....anyways I tried using it with my DICE kit but it said..third party device not compatiable blah blah yes or no..so I hit yes to turn into airplane mode...and it played a song but no controls or anything...so I was foolin around with it yesterday and instead of hittin yes I hit no...I can confirm that the old DICE kits work perfect with the iphone. You can go to any other section in the iphone while having complete control of songs and volume with your headunit or steering wheel. Also I got a phone call while it was playing..it automatically dimmed, paused the ipod...and I was able to pick up the phone..as soon the call was ended it resumed back to the music. Has every function I can think of ..only thing better would have the voice coming from my speakers instead of from the phone but didnt expect that. Now I love this DICE thing..I was about to go buy this upgrade piece...no need
