i got the hamann add-on. is there a DIY write up?

Take it to a bodyshop, I'm pretty sure there is no way you can paint it yourself.

Drewcon is right. Unless you have the equipment, a DIY paint job will almost always look funked up. Take the add-on to a shop, that way you have no worries and a warranty on the paint.
