no multifunctional to multifunctional
hello. today i bought a m3 steering wheel, and instaled it. so far so fine looks good feels good but here's the problem. i did not have a multifunctional steering wheel before, and now none of the buttons on the steering wheel work. they also do not illuminate. i have seen some thread's that it can be done. and al you need is a wiring harnes that goes between the steering wheel the lcm and the ecu but they are al for the cars with an electric gaspedal. but i have a m52tu engine so mine is with a cable so i think i need some other parts to tho make it al work.
has someone here done such a retrofit on a 328? and do you have the partnumbers that are requered for this? tnx |

Have the pdf but as i have a rhd car its not very clear about where i can run the wire.
This probably is one of the easiest diy`s, I did the nav retro fit 2 weeks ago that was a bit more difficult. |

As I understand you are talking about wire going to box with multiple harnesses under the hood. If it's on left side you just need to route longer wire to it. Easiest to do is run it under the hood than dissasamble everything inside.
