License Plate LEDs blinking

I just purchased some LEDs for my wife's car and the car doesn't recognize that the LEDs are there. The dash lights up saying check lights, also the LEDs blink every 2 seconds

Any advice

THANKS

Where did you get them? I got mine from Jlevi, the new V2 ones, the work flawless and no check light issue here. Is this an Ebay bulb?

It's not ebay bulbs, but from JLevis. My wife's car is an 08 MB E350. Please help, i love the looks of these LEDs. Do i need to disconnect the battery? I do have them on my M3 and they work great.

What year/model BMW is this? The M3 should not check the license plate bulbs, but some modules remain lit at 25% power for a couple minutes after power is cut.
