Depends what you're using the dyno for.... I don't really look at the number, I just kept going back after each mod to see if I did better, its about being consistent and seeing if you gained power after each mod.

Car is pulls very hard now... tested it against a friends 335 w/ BMC filter + Catback exh, M3 > 335 by 2 cars.

I bought the header from ebay seller "trendy auto" Black Ceramic coated ones.

Tonestar-

Thanks for posting up Dyno results. Between this dyno test and the streamline test you have helped sell parts for these companies in addition to giving us great data. The suppliers should be giving you some kick backs. Thanks again.

It should fit, there were no revisions to the engine nor the chassis.

I think its just not listed.

How involved is welding/extending the O2 sensor harness? Also if you do this will the check engine light come on?

Was your baseline run done the same day, on the same dyno as the header install?

Sorry if u already said it, but I'm not clear on that part.

You can build an O2 sim for this car. I figured it out a while back and was going to sell it, but decided to just give away the info. search for my thread and you will get complete details to get rid of the SES light.

The numbers he posted up are probably Dyno Dynamics Twin Retarder numbers.. its known as the "heartbreaker" but the truth is that if you compare trap times with the numbers the Dyno is actually lower than actual numbers.

Usually people will get around 240-250 on that dyno and 270-280 on most others like mustang/dynojet/etc.. His numbers are right on, its the gain thats the most impressive.

I had similar gains with all my mods, even without tuning i went from 280RWHP stock to 307 RWHP with headers/intake/pullies/coils/flywheel. I also run the ebay headers.

for install details search my DIY thread on m3forum.com... i might have posted here as well.

If you know what you are doing, you can install them yourself.. or be prepared to spend around $350 to get them installed because its a tedious job.

Great Numbers bro!!! Now its time for a tune!

i just ordered the silver ceramic coated ones. As soon as i get the time, I'm going to get my car dyno'd and then install, and re-dyno. Hopefully same day.
I'll keep you guys posted. It might be a few weeks, since my car is my daily, and work is pretty busy right now.
