How can you tell if you bent a rim???

I was driving to school this morning on I-95 and I ran over something with my front right rim(Breyton Magic Racing 19x9) at around 75mph. It made a thump and I was super scared that I blew out my tire. However upon inspection there was no damage at all to the tire or the rim from what I can tell. Also I on my way home I hit 120mph a couple of times to see if there was any vibration and there wasnt. Can anyone tell me the symptoms of a bent wheel?

Thanks alot. Im trying to cure my paranoia.

based on what you've said, sounds like your wheel is ok. You wouldn't even have to hit 120 to tell... at least in my experience.

good luck!

Vibration is the best way to tell if you bent a rim... if you did bend a rim, u would have felt it way before 120mph... sounds like your ok...

i am sorry

but i dont agree. Last week i removed my tires and i saw 3 major dents. The dents could not be seen with the tires on. So....my advise...check it without the tires.

If you think you bent your rim then later drove 120 mph to see what damage you caused thats pretty risky.
Not sure if that was the best thing to do..
Would hate to get a blow out at 120mph after running over something..
