Scratch on hood.

Very fine, about 1/2 an inch long and about one inch above roundel. I just put in an order for a paint pen and clear coat pen from this company. Anyone use this product to fix a fine scratch? Any pointers?

Forgot to ask...

Anyone know if there is a paint code for the silver paint on the wheels? There is a paint called "Arctic Silver" on the website I bought the paint pens from, in addition to Titanium Silver.

TIA

it may look worse after you fix this ?

I would not touch it, you will get more scratches if you drive and park your car. Wait until you have a few blemishes, then take it to the body shop.

don't want to make it look worse

but I really need to take care of the scratch. It is right in the middle of the hood, visable from probably 10 feet with the right light.

I am going to try the pen stuff on a practice area to see if there is any chance I can do it myself, otherwise it's body shop time.
