LCM Auto Leveling Question

Hi Guys

How can I determine if my LCM will accept coding for Auto Leveling? I'm concerned my LCM (Which has been coded for BiXenons successfully) may not accept coding for Auto Leveling and I may need a new LCM at huge expense?

my intention was to install the retrofit kit for auto leveling, and just change the face plate?

Since coding my LCM for BiXenon, my manual dial LCM no longer moves the lights up/down

Thanks
Kris

only way to really tell is to hook it up to the computer at the dealership/indy shop. it should tell you then.

A bmw tech told me that the circuit for the auto leveling enabled LCM is different than the manual one and they are not recodable.

When I coded mine for Xenon, the manual leveling control was deactivated and now the LCM stores a fault "Leveling sensor short to ground"

I got a brand new LCM from ebay for $90.. just watch for a good deal and make sure it's brand new (if the auto leveling doesn't work).
