Angel Eyes wont turn off

For some reason on my cousins car which is a 98 740 il and the angel eyes wont turn off. The car has been off and the angel eyes have stayed on for over an hour. Anyone have any idea as to why this is happening? I told him to disconnect the wire to the battery for now so he wont have a dead battery in the morning.

I've had that happen a few times...no idea why. They have always shut off a while later though.

Just wire a kill switch. that way if ever he wants to leave them on for show, he can. and if he doesn't want them on for whatever reason he can switch them off.

Did this issue started all of a sudden or has it been like this since he installed them?

Don't accessories usually remain powered? I thought that was what enabled me to charge my cell phone in the Cigarette lighter socket overnight when the car was off.
