Are there any common problems after insatalling these angel eyes.

You would have to be more specific, there are dozens of angel eye conversion sets on the market, from cheap-o ebay solutions to professional kits like the ones from Umnitza.

i took my time when installing mine, making sure all connections were correct and secure
the only problem i have is dimness during cold weather

I assume that you use umnitza. Do they work well in the cold?

It's cold as sweet bitter f*k here in VT. Eyes have been fine so far.

Mine just take 2 minutes to heat up after sitting out in 10 degree weather for 6 hours. Once then its perfectly fine
