Opinions needed for Facelift sedan...
Hi,
Ive been gathering up some mods over the winter to install in the spring. Im just trying to deciede what lights to use on the front turn signals/parking lights. I am going to install 6000k pred. chromiums and 6000k DS2 prolumen for the Xenons. What is the best corner bulb to use with this set up? I was going to get L.E.D's but have heard mixed reviews. I have also heard of some bulbs actually melting and destroying the corner lens... Can anyone recommend some good quality, long lasting, non-melting 6000k -ish colored bulbs? pics and links would be great! TIA |

If your going to get 6k Halos and HIDs. Id suggest the P46 kit.
It is a xenon projector headlight, with CCFLs pre-installed, all plug and play. I have DEPO P46s and I love my headlights, no problems, 6k. If you want pics I can post some tomorrow night. As for the corners, i would use LEDs. They should not overheat and melt. But i think you will need resistors in order for them to work |

I'd personally recommend going with the LEDs but another option are the Bimmian Solaris bulbs we carry. The LEDs offer the clean flick on flick off effect and are lifetime bulbs so they won't burn out. They also operate at less temperature than your stock turn signals so you do not have to worry about melting the corners.
The solaris bulbs are mirror coated incandescent bulbs that are clear when off as well and blink in either xenon white or amber depending on what you choose. Here are the product pages to look into: Jlevi SW V2 LED Front, Side or Rear Turn Signal Bulbs ![]() Solaris Niveus Mirror Coated Bulbs |
