are white turn and sidemarker lights illegal?

i know blue and colored ones are, are white ones too?
Edit -- Also wondering about a few easy questions, From Jlevisw do the $25 turn signal reverse lights come as a set of 2 or 1 and do they actually need the resistors? And i forgot the site that told me this but which bulb number is the front turn signal and which is the reverse lights, 1156 7507 Thanks!

Depends on where you live. Lots of places have white ones being legal on the front and side of the car but require amber lights to be placed on the back.

The $25 set comes as a set of 2, i bought this myself.

Yes they do need resistors.

Bulb type depends on your car. My car has front and reverse lights as 1156. It doesn't really matter as you can always shave down one pin if you order the wrong bulb. The bulbs are the same except the pins either have a 180 offset or a 160 (i think) offset.

euro clears, V2 LED angel eyes, m-tech II front bumper, trunk lip spoiler, chrome gauge rings, 18" m5 rims, chrome grill,
K&N intake, aux input, brushed aluminum pedals, active autowerke gen. 3 exhaust, RD Sport SSK w/ Rogue WSR
Bilstein sport shocks, H&R race springs

check your state inspection laws, it will tell you there.

in vermont, parking lights can be white/amber but somewhere there needs to be a reflector deivce, and side markers must be yellow. rears signals must be yellow or red.

I have white led turn signals/parking lights with clears and have yet to have a problem. Sidemarkers are led as well, but amber. Actually looks good I think.

Front turn signals must be either white or amber, sidemarkers technically must be amber but most get away with white no problem and the rears must be either red or amber. You will need resistors for the front or rear turn signals. Front corners are either 1156 or 7507 depending on your car's production. Just take out the stock bulb and look at the pin offset at the bottom, if they are 180 degrees- 1156, 150 degrees- 7507. Sidemarkers are 194 (no resistors required) and the rear turn signals are 1156 (resistors required).

Hope that helps!
