Turn Signal Problem

Hi folks. I have a 2002 330i with approx. 105,000kms. Just recently, my left turn indicator light has been flashing and clicking twice as fast before. The checklight indicator lamp comes on as well whenever this problem occurs. This problem comes and goes. No problem with the right turn indicator or any other light problems. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if they have what the fix is. Thank you in advance.

Wow, no answer for a year and a half? Simple fix. Replace the lamp AND the socket.

I had the same issue..replacing lamp fixed it. may be this fast clicking behavior is just an indication of lamp about to go out
