get a hold of KHOA, I too live in an area where I needed my high beams and went through KHOA whose supplier is Apexcone. Apexcone makes a dual input/output harness (lowbeam plugs into harness, then routes power to a relay, then to the ballasts) to eliminate flickering/problems with the LCM not recognizing the HID's. You will still have the bulb out warning and can do the resistor mod or KHOA now has a plug n play resistor harness that is really clean for $50.

JonTran8, I had the same issue like yours when I first installed my aftermarket HIDs. When you turn your keys to the ON position without starting your engine, your lights should light up just fine. But when you start your engine and turn on your lights, it will flicker like crazy. To remedy this, you will need to install a capacitor. Install the capacitor to the power line before it goes into the Ballast. You can get the capacitor at Radio Shack. On the capacitor. notice the arrows. When you install it, the arrow lead should be pointing to your "negative" wire. The other end goes into your positive wire.

Ok, so my hid's work when the key is to the ON position without starting the car. When starting the car, the lights flicker and turn off. To fix this the capacitor method will fix this problem? Are there any good write-up's?
