I did suspension and no new rims on my SL500, and it worked out fine. Bilstein Grand Touring shocks and the H&R Sport kit, didnt have any problem.

Wouldnt want anything rougher than the Sport Kit. that car kicked my ass when it got bumpy.

I did a 1.4 inch drop, are you looking at more than that?

lol. . . .ive always dropped then wheels, if you have 18 or 19's on stock suspension its gonna look retarded. . . you just have to learn to drive a lowered car, my m3 is fairly low and i rarely scrape, if anything ill scrape my exhaust lol. . .

gl brandon, my dad didnt care how i modded my car, i tell em im going to get parts for my car, they ask what now, i tell them and they just shake their heads

same here man, i got frequent "money bucket" warnings. Im not doing much to the 335, as nothing really needs to be done (im afraid to mess with rideheight, as my top puts 300LBS in the trunk when it is retracted. I got the premium wheels (chromed) and i dont really see the need for anything major (minus some painted reflectors).

18' aftermarket wheels on stock suspension=Monster Truck

It took me about a week to get used to going over things at an angle, then i pretty much never scraped (except for when i was in a BIG hurry). My big thing was forgetting that my bumper could not clear curbs when i was parking, that was something to get used to!
