What can I do with this ring??? -_-;;;

alright.. seems like my ring is gone.. so I called Bimmian and asked for a replacement. He told me that he will send both ring and ballast.

Here is what I got today..

Super thin ring + some clips..

What can I do with this?? Isn't it ring suppose to be thick??

What you need to do is remove the dead ring, take off the outer plastic cover and glue in the new bare ring.

The old ring is held in by epoxy glue at the top, just use an exacto knife to carve this out and take out the old ring. You can then use epoxy to dab under the portion of the new ring where the white wires come out at the top. Place it in the plastic housing and apply more glue over the ring to secure it in place.

I didn't realize you had P46s, I should have looked more closely.

Those are the exact rings you have on your P46s. Just open the front plastic outer cover and use a flat head screw driver to pry off the plastic cover over the dead ring. Note how the white wires are fed through the top of the beam, you will need to do this with the new ring. Disconnect the white wires from the ballast inside the headlight (you will need to go in from the back of the high or low beam to reach the ballast). Slide out the bare ring, slide in the new one and feed the wires through the back. Reconnect with the ballast, snap the plastic covers back on and you will be set to go.
