Technique Tuning turbo kit E46 2001-02 330 5sp:Price & Dyno sheet

OK guys, sorry for the delayed update, but we've been working hard to get this kit ready to go. Below are some of the latest dyno results using the production downpipe/exhaust and some tweaking of the VANOS timing on the dyno.

For the record, the system will include the following for an exhaust system configuration (exactly how it was dynoed in the included graph):

- 3" downpipe
- external wastegate
- single 3" in, dual outlet catalytic converter
- mates up to the factory rear resonator and muffler
- dynorun009 = stock cam positions
- dynorun024 = tweaked cam positions

Next up we will be installing a free-flow 3" turbo exhaust system just to test the capability of the kit on a stock engine (and proving how restrictive the stock exhaust/muffler is). Of course, we'll be redynoing and tweaking for that setup too, to have available for those customers that choose to go that route.

Pricing for the kit will be $6900 plus S&H. The first kits to be rolled out will be for the 2001-2002 E46 330 5-spd cars. If you're interested in getting onto the waiting list, shoot me an email at nick@techniquetuning.com

Well, since you guys seem so smart, I have a 2004 330zhp 6sp 75k all hiway; I much prefer a turbo over supercharger. I live in Bayonne, NJ who is willing to help me with the work or tell me a good place to go and on or about how much i will spend for EVERYTHING.

Nice 321 whp. I would get that if I was going boost and couldn't afford the TS3.

Edit: I'd actually do TS2+ for the torque curve. Doesn't it peak sooner than 3,000 RPM? I forgot.

It'll probably cost twice as much as NickG's kit.

if some1 buys my ess tx-2+ kit...

maybe id take the plunge since I have a new car to drive around in. But Its hard to get rid of the ESS bullet proof kit for new turbo kit that just hit the market.

can you please post the dyno here in this thread cause im not a member of bimmerforums.

yay I overlayed my first evear dyno on top of the NickGs kit

with my recent mods Im sure Im making a bit more off the top, but still the turbo does have 20-30 %more power avail downlow...and all 'round

but ess kit sale @ 2800-3200

7000+1200install -3000=5200 for 30 percent more torque and power...

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm thanks aggie!
