Angel Eye Trigger Wire Question!

Hey guys,

So I just recently got my angel eyes and alittle confused as to what trigger wire does what?

There's the red one on the right side if you were facing the hood right, that one connects into the ECU compartment where the yellow and red dotted or yellow dotted wire is correct?

Now what the heck does the brown trigger wire do? do I just leave it alone? and electrical tape the thing or... what? lol

I'm just concerned that the red trigger wire will only trigger on the right side of the angel eyes and not the left... so someone please give me some relief and tell me the red one triggers both!

Thanks,
Steve

It's the remote wire.

We have put together a 10-page instructuction manual for installation of the MYCARR Angel Eye kit on an e46 M3. Steps will go over all needed procedures and give 2 variables for operation: Always on vs Switched on.

MYCARR Angel Eye Download link (requires Adobe Acrobat): http://www.europeanautosource.com/su...structions.pdf

Hope this helps.

The brown wire is connected to the footwell wire (color coded) behind the glove box. When this circuit is turned ON by the key remote, the relay switches on the Angel Eyes circuit. So the angel eyes light up using the key remote. A feature with Predators, but possible using an ordinary 5 pin relay.

Some early e46s do not. You would have to tap into another lamp instead.
