my friend with an '07 gsxr1000 says that his 1000 is actually faster than the hayabusa because the 'busa weighs so damned much
what are your thoughts on that?

  that was my old bike 2000 zx6r , only mods i did were d&d slip on and k&n filter. loved that bike got to get another soon.

Busas, are actually excellent sport tourers, with excellent speed and acceleration.
They're not bad bikes, they're just big, and huge and ugly, IMO. But they can be done up. I'm just sick of dropped stretched chromed out busas. A friend of mine used to take his to the track, (not drag strip track) and he loved it, but said it was a helluva workout. |
