It's up to the person you're buying them from really. You could also ship them to someone living in the US or wherever you're buying them from, and have them send them as a "gift".

Anything under $1000 AUD will not atract tax (I have imported everything on my car pretty much).
As the US exchange rate is so great at the moment, even declaring the item at $900 AUD would work. Customs did not ask me if the currency is in AUD or USD when I have imported, so you can get away with it if you say it is in AUD for an amount up to $1000

Cool, thanks guys .. I've always been worried of the package 'size' ..always worried if the package was too 'big' I would attract custom detaining it and stuff like that. Now Im more confident buying more stuff overseas..recently just had a pair of LED lights shipped over no problem but didn't dare ship headlights over and rims.

seriously man go to somewere like BM Tech and pay the couple of hundred bucks to fit them or get some DIY instructions and do it your self i installed my angel eyes in my E36 its really not hard if you have the right information
