Question Sport Steering Wheel on 328i Sedan?

Are there any issues when trying to retrofit the sport package steering wheel to a non-sport pkg 2000 328i? I know I can't reuse the original airbag and need the round one. I seem to remember something about the SRS light coming or remaining on after the retrofit.

Thanks!

I believe there is an issue with swapping airbags because the newer airbag is multi-stage

I've had no problems doing the retrofit.

Just make sure you disconnect your battery first.
