My last Smog check guy was questioning my intake and said I can't pass with it but was nice enough to let me off the hook (after him dicking me around for a little bit and later asking if I worked for the government ) Although I felt that he was just tired since it was the end of the day, so you can try that tactic as well

guess in cali you just gotta get real good at swapping the stock manifolds in and out once a year

Has anyone installed these ceramic headers?
I think theyre fairly new, I didnt see them on ebay a month ago.

What do you guys think? are they as good as the more expensive stainless steel ones?

I saw that too. He's selling five of them and labelled as "01-06 BMW E46 325/ 330 2.5L/3.0L Silver Ceramic Header". But the the pic clearly shows it's an M3 header (according to post #1):



The ad even says: "Package included: EXACTLY AS SHOWN".

So don't buy it since the seller doesn't even know what he's selling.

oh. I didnt even notice they were the m3 headers. Ill have to contact the seller and ask him about it.

Those are definitely for M3s.

i dunno, i like how quite it is now, when im cruising, im thinking even with stock pipes it will be louder, and i dont want that.

It's not that bad. What exhaust do you have now?

all stock right now, even when im getting on it all i hear is intake. and i kinda like that.
