My last Smog check guy was questioning my intake and said I can't pass with it but was nice enough to let me off the hook (after him dicking me around for a little bit and later asking if I worked for the government ) Although I felt that he was just tired since it was the end of the day, so you can try that tactic as well

guess in cali you just gotta get real good at swapping the stock manifolds in and out once a year

Very nice thread

hopefully this will end most of the reposts and repeat threads.

I'm glad I dont live in a state with anal emission laws...

Anyways, kudos to Adam and Ken.

I saw that too. He's selling five of them and labelled as "01-06 BMW E46 325/ 330 2.5L/3.0L Silver Ceramic Header". But the the pic clearly shows it's an M3 header (according to post #1):

The ad even says: "Package included: EXACTLY AS SHOWN".

So don't buy it since the seller doesn't even know what he's selling.

So does anyone have an answer to this. I'm looking at ebay headers and doing a SS full-cat back exhaust. So do race cats make a difference?

I'm in Kansas. We don't have yearly emissions tests like CA or others.
