LED interior light question
HEy E46 fans!!!!
I just installed the 36 mm LED lights to light upo the floor in my 330 ci (05) and used the same bulbs in the license lamps. Here is the question. I loke the superwhite look of the LED's and I want to cnahge the lamps in the map light in front and the lights in the inside back of the car (reading lights??) Anyone know which lights I will need?? I have not taken it apart yet and if anyone has the lamp part #'s or a reference or link I would appreciate it. I have located a source that has these relatively inexpensive, about $1.00 per bulb. I also am upgrading my DRL's to Super white LED then my Fogs too. What do you think of these for my DRL's they are LED H7 bulbs , will they fit my 05 330ci?? Check it out, they are for sale locally:

Yes they're bright. Nates been doing LEDs for years, I don't know if I got a buddy price or not, but I paid around $50 shipped for 2 blue rear lights, a superwhite dome light, and 2 white map lights. I think that's all I got. He sent me a replacement dome light since the tab on one of em broke off on me.
His dome light is even specially made to spread the light around and not focus one way like most dome lights. |

Put it this way, when my map lights are on, I have a distinct white light, not that weak sauce that the stock lights produce.

I got the 36 mm festoon super white LED's for my rear license plate lights, I got them for the floor wells in the front as well. All I need is the bulbs for the map light and dome light in the front (3) and the rear lights (4)
They are the push type wedge bulb but I want to be sure I get the correct one. I sawe a few selling saets on Ebay for $44.00 but I only need half the lights now.

I checked that sight. A little pricey considering I can get them for about $1.00
Can anyone post a picture of what the led bulbs look like for the map lights in the front, they are the same as the lights in the back of a 330ci (05)

Nates bulbs are the best.
He's been doing this for a while, I've watched him work. He's the bomb. I don't know what bulbs I bought, I just emailed him and told him what bulbs I wanted replaced and what color. He has a facelift sedan so it was nothing to him. I suggest you email him with any questions, maybe he can cut u a fanatic discount or something. When I get home ill post pics for you. If not ill do it tomorrow night so u can see what I'm working with. I'm very happy with my setup. I can't wait to get my dome light. I just have a regular LED in the dome spot now, but once I get the "wide spread" design I know its gonna look sick. |

I just got a 4 bulb 194 bulb ( i figured out what bulbs they are) 8 of them , 3 for the front and the 4 for the back and 1 spare. The 4 bulb set up has a wide spread and the sigles that are cheaper have a narrow spread since they are just one bulb. They all are the same thing basically from Hong Kong, you'll pay more for the 4 and 6 LED bulbs and they give off a better and wider beam of light. The 6 bulb ones have a wider "head" which means some modding and cutting and thats a no-no.
The 4 bulbs gives off as much light and I got them here: http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotor...2159QQtcZphoto

Thanks for the kind words snik
![]() Just to set the record straight, the LEDs I used for my car (and got for snikwad) can be seen here: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...***post7657611 Most of them are not items that I sell on my site since the site is directed toward the Honda crowd.

Hey, I have some LED license plate lights, but they have no resistors, and throw a error light.
Would u be able to tweak em for me to work with no codes? |

Not sure
The LEDs I used in my car did not throw any error lights. Do you have a link to the ones you purchased?
