i think its funny when younger guys just look at car prices from overseas, and then say "yeah, i'm gunna just import a ______" without realizing that you just plainly can't.
there's so much red-tape, even if you could get around the import regulations and safety issues, you'd pay so much to get it up to spec that you might as well have bought a ferrari.
i've been there though, i used to say that about the skyline gtr's along with every other high school kid of my class... pssh i was an idiot

I live in Canada so for me by law car has to be 15 years and older so this car would make it,and the costs are shipping $1200 from Japan + duty 6.1% +6%gst and 7%pst depending what province your in trust me it is worth it if you know how to count.This is form a guy who imported Porsche and Bmw all the way from Germany when they still did have german mark like 5 year ego and still made some nice profit on them.But then again US might have different rules,it was worth back then for me and now Japan is worth to.
