Hey guys, i've been watching this thread for ages - ever since I got my Tourer actually

Is my tourer worthy of the wall?

It's a 330d. It had standard 17's on it when I bought it. I swapped these for the 18" M-tech wheels. Avon tyres. Lowered... a little too much for our roads! It is also chipped with an Abrieb chip, giving it about 216bhp and an additional 60 whole torques! It's a very fast car and the handling is amazing... it could do with better brakes though...

i shipped them back. lost about $50 i the process

I shot these for fun at night, really putting my Canon prime to work

I will have to post a better ones for the official "wall" pic.

Touring friends anyone ever seen any decent looking roof spoilers for the touring? the only one I have seen for sale is from BAVAuto... G-Power but I cant find any better pics than the one on BAV...


and its kinda hard to get much detail from it, I dont want to pay for something and have it be barely any different than stock. Anyone ever seen any or done a custom rear roof spoiler?

have it custom molded to your liking in fglass or plastic

or even cf for that matter

I finally got time to put the Alcon BBK on the car. I also pulled the entire rear brake calipers off and took them apart, cleaned, and painted red to match the front kit. Stops a TON better! Pedal feel is way way nicer and the car has zero brake fade. Before after a few miles of spirited driving it would get super spongy now its rock hard

Suspension is next on the list, sway bars, a few bushings, and I am going to try out the D2 coilovers on it. Probably do the rear alcon kit to...

Winter project..Plan to swap an M54B30 in this fall.

Last will be the body with an M3 bumper, M tech rear,painted mouldings with M3 mirrors, and black trim.

hmmm, which of us will be the first to get their M54B30 swapped in...a little friendly race??? Will you consider SCing it as well\

btw - the brakes and the wheels look great - i like the idea of the little temp gauge on the alcons

You'll probably win. I have to finish three other cars before I can do the motor swap...

depends on the gas prices...But my goal was to turbo it. I may even leave the auto in it i like the steptronic. Have to go to the track to see if I really like the steptronic. If it sucks I'll put a six speed in it.

yeah the temp gauge is pretty neat. Should be intresting to see what it does on a race track.

yes, both cars have 19s

19's is the way to go

^+2 I agree especially on the wagons since it is a more massive body... I have 18"s and if I could afford it I would have a set of 19"s for summer... sometimes my 18"s just look too small... but they are better than the stock 16"s
