UltraSuede (alcantara) trim

OK - you all saw the preview post - here are the initial photos of all the trim installed. Obviously, they're taken at night. I'll take daylight shots, if the sun ever comes out!

Couple points of interest:

1. This is UltraSuede, another type of synthetic suede, similar to alcantara.
2. The color is actually a dark gray - "executive gray"
3. It took about 1/2 yard to wrap all the trim.
4. I used spray adhesive as well as a high tack cement.

looks great. I think I might try it with blue. Do you know if it would be possible to do some parts of the seat??

Anything's possible

I guess if you're willing to cut apart your seat to replace a panel or 2... I know I've seen a bunch of people who've had it done professionally. I'm not that brave.

Hmm, I think I am gonna order some and try it out. did you get the

Ultrasuede® Soft_
Ultrasuede® Elite
Ultrasuede® Light_

or does it matter. I think I am gonna go with the royal blue.

I used the ultrasuede soft for the trim. If you're gonna attempt the seats, you should use the uphostry grade (with a backing).
