Power steering dead. Rebuilt LUK LF-20?
Power steering is officially dead. Haven't checked it yet but I'm sure its the pump. I'm at about 97k, anyone else have theirs die around the same time? I've been looking for pumps, i found some cardone rebuilds. Is it worth it to buy the $450 new pump? I found some rebuilds for about $170. Gonna diy it, but I'd like to save a few $$$ if I can.

I'm at 96,600.. It groaned for about a month and died on the way home from work today. Dealer told me I needed a new pump 2 weeks ago after an oil change.

Appreciate the help, yeah I am at about 96,600 and mine has been creaking on and off. Died one turn before I got to work the other day. It's actually not bad driving without it, other than parking. Lots of road feedback. Oh well. I'll try a used one unless I hear of anyone having problems with them.

Pelican parts has brand new LF-20 or rebuilt ZF units. Got mine from there (new one though)
