Subs-No Ski Pass

I finally my whole system installed..pics will be up this weekend...but what is the deal with getting more bass into the car and outside...my 00 328i had a ski pass so I got a lot in through that my 325i doesnt have that and the seats dont fold down any other suggestions because the sub and amp I got is a lot better and doesnt hit nearly has much as my old system used to...standing outside the car all you might hear is a little rattle from the trunk..its kinda disappointed for the 300 bucks I just spend...

I have a 2000 328i and I'm not sure if I have the ski pass or not. I can pull down the rear armrest and there is a piece of metal there that has perforated edges that could be busted out I guess, but I cant put my arm (or skis) through there as is.

If you have the metal plate that can be punched out, I've seen some people do this and they report the base comes through better. One guy put some mess type material across the hole to kind of hide it.

OK, then some people take out the rear deck woofers which should leave 2 holes for the bass to come through. Or cutting some of the metal from behind the rear seats? Maybe some others will have more suggestions, but the trunk is sealed rather well, so the options may be limited. Good luck. I'll be doing this soon (putting in a sub), but luckily I have the ski pass deal.

with my old car I just took a hammer and busted it out...im thinking i might do something in the center of my deck lid because I dont have a hk system so those rear speakers are important...maybe a third hole might work but i dont know how easy that would be..

go to a home depot or something and get you some velcro. they have the kind that is an adhesive on the back. you can put it between the back of the carpet and that firewall behind the back seat. It might sound ghetto, but never underestimate the power of velcro!
