How to take off the glass piece off a side door mirror "03 M3

Anyone know how to take off the glass piece in a E46 M3 side door mirror? I bought a mirror from the dealership to come to realize that it doesn't come with the glass piece. So now I have to take the old one from my old mirror but dont want to attempt it till I know exactly how to do it without breaking it.

I tried looking for a thread but couldnt find it. But I've heard its a twist lock setup but still not totally sure how it goes.

Thanks for the help!

On the bottom of the mirror you will see a black tab, if my memory serves me right it slide to the right to unlock. use a flashlight and look you will clearly see it use a small screw driver to slide the tab.
