My Ride: SSII E90 M3
Kickers S12L7 Ohms question

From what i see there is a 4ohm and 2ohm Kicker S12L7 subwoofers. I'm lost. I'm using the Kx1200.1 mono subwoofer. Which one do i get? Help!!!!

From what i just read the Amp is 4ohm, 1ohm stable.
600watts RMS x 1 @ 4ohms
1000 watts RMS x 1 @ 1ohm

if you're getting a pair of L7's, you want the 2ohms for this amp. Since they have a dual voice coil, you can wire them in parallel (which will take them to a 1ohm load) and get 500watts a piece on them. The speakers call for 750 each. If you get the 4 ohm, you'll be spliting that 600watts between the two of them...thus severly underpowering them and wasting money on expensive speakers.:sad: :sad: If you're only getting one sub, then I'd go with 4ohm. because the 600 watts on it will do just fine. Hope this helps. Good luck and you'll be nice getting disturbing the peace tickets in no time
