Central Lock / Hazard Lights no longer working
The module that controls the central locking and the hazard lights isn't working, albeit the buttons do light up when I turn on the headlights.
I wanted to know if there are any areas I should check (fuse, known loose wires, etc) before buying a new module. Thanks

Check the connectors connecting to the switch. To get through there you need to remove your trim around your shift knob. And then another two screens that holds the plastic holder with switches I believe...
What happens over time due to usage the bottom peice that connects the buttons together is that it breaks. Therefore, the unti/switch needs to be replaced. I had to do this on a few cars... atleast 3 so it's a common wear and tear problem. Steve ASPTuning |
