help, audio cycles in and out???

I have my e46 stock HU with an ads p650.2 amp. Everything has been fine since I installed it in feb. All of the sudden it wont play anymore, and the audio just cycles in and out. The blue power light on the amp stays lighted with the power/ground and remote turn on connected, but once I connect the signal source, the power light dims in sync with the audio. I have connected a 6 amp power source to the battery so its getting enough power. I have also checked all the connections. Has anyone experienced this and/or could tell me whats going on.

1. Check your connection to ground, but it sounds like you already did this
2. Check the amp fuse, it might be comming loose
3. Visually inspect your drivers, if one is blown or otherwise damaged you could have some funky impedence things going on
6. (Forgot this very important one) Check your battery voltage!!!! Dropping voltage levels can do odd things to amps.
4. Take it to a stereo shop
5. Call ADS and see if they have any advice
