hi..

1. i want to buy one. but where is it on the website?

2. The new pioneer double din radios have a mechanism which the screen moves so you can insert CDs. Will the bezel restrict the movement of the screen?

I've installed this exact kit already, I bought it from the manufacturer direct for 235 + 30 for shipping international. Takes a little work, but looks decent. Still trying to figure out how to get it "centered" as opposed to angle left.

No is the answer, I installed the new Pioneer AVH-P6000, the in-dash 2din 7" monitor with built in 6-disc cd/DVD changer. Getting the wiring to fit behind is a beeeeeeatch

you might need a dremel....unless you plan to gnaw your way through the ABS plastic.

if I'm not mistaken, the a/c control relocation is rather expensive and the labor to do it is rather extensive. If you can DIY, go for it, but if you will have a local installer do it, check on their pricing before buying this.

Just looking out for fanatics who might not know what thye are getting themselves into

I think it will be very hard and I will probably get hung up, and it will probably take me an entire week to finish but I was quoted so much for this install that a DIY is my only option.

Also I think this is all you need for the climate control relocation:

I got the same kit from Janus of ebay.. got it for 240 shipped couple of months ago and got everything I needed for the install, ofcourse except the HVAC Relocation Kit which was about $50 versus the dealer's $90. Just finished the install last night, had to wait for the relocation kit from EAS, ordered the wrong one.. but it was the best alternative to install it since I didn't want to bother making my own and ordering Rich's bezel for the same price as the whole kit.. everything worked out good for me!

Here's a pic of final install.. there's also a link in my sig to some of the questions I have with the install but they were mostly about the wiring and w/e else.. Janus also sent instruction of installation of the kit, I hope the Euro-Spec will have something as well because it's very important to look through..

^ Looks great! Nice job! Please check PM.

Yes, our version will have a instruction sheet as well. We are working on supplying the HVAC relocation piece as part of the bundle in the near future as well!

NICELY done!

I ordered this kit recently and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. I need to get a couple of other things (HVAC relo, wiring harness(es), etc.). And I'm shopping hard for a F90BT (decided upon after a LOT of looking around) - best deal so far is $894 shipped (yes, a new unit). It'll take me just a little while longer to collect everything to start the install, but then I'll doc it and post my DIY FWIW. It's about as ambitious as anything I've tried, but I'm not shy with a dremel so I think I'll be okay!

Anybody seen a good DIY on removing the stock NAV - not really seeing any problems here with the head unit and the trunk unit but not sure about removing the factory gps.
