No, remove the filter from the filtered cigarettes and then smoke both without a filter, and see if a Check Esophagus Light doesn't come on.

autozone out here doesnt carry the microfilters, the only place that carries them is the dealer and the sales rep at the dealer told me they were about $60 a piece. So I said f*ck it I'm gonna try and save 30 bucks and buy an OEM fit & quality microfilter on eBay.

Hey troll, why don't you check out the link I posted back on the first page. Auto-hausz has it for $20 and they ship anywhere in the USA. Are you in the USA? Good. Now go.

lol, you think a "cabin" air filter is going to throw an engine code. Especially when the code was related to throttle control, now come on did you think at all before you came to this conclusion. By the way I ran without my microfilter entirely for a couple of weeks after I installed my supercharger and my car did not throw any codes. Damn now I know why I grenaded seccond gear in my tranny it was that damn ebay shift knob, lol.

Fun fact: some cars come without a microfilter.
Why? Because not having a cabin microfilter in your car won't hurt it, and most definitely won't throw any sort of error code. Unless you spring the extra $500 for the microfilter sensor system.
