Headlamp

I am removing my passenger side headlamp because i believe it may be cracked - its fogging up.

I nearly have it all out, except the silver plastic trim at the bottom of the headlamp is attached to the fender somehow and I cannot seem to remove the damn thing.

It appears it is hooked on somewhere, but how to unhook it I do not know, anyone else have any idea?

Do you have the washer nozzle option for your headlights?

If you do then you need to take a small screw driver, place it just above the nozzle, and use it to pull the nozzle out. Then you can disconnect it, no problem. Beware, washer fluid will fly out.

If you don't have this option, look at where the trim meets the headlight frame (towards the middle of the car).
Take a flathead screwdriver, and gently pry the trim out. It will actually swing outwards.

I think unmitza has a video on how to do it (or just look at the one for the DDE).

the trim bit you mean is under the headlight??

if so then, unhook it close to the kidneys (supposing you ve already done this)

the plastic is attached to the fender, use a small flat screw driver to pry the plastic bit loose

on the inside you can see how it is attached, pry the small bit (in the middle) towards the headlight and pull the trim straight out, be carefull not to bend the fender
