The Next HPF Stage 3 Beast Hits the Streets

We started My Tran's M3 for the first time today on the new HPF stage 3 motor. This beast is now in the final break-in/tuning stage and we will be strapping it down on the dyno very shortly.

Here's a video of the first start, and some pictures of the build....

Thanks. Since this is the first time the car has been driven we keep a very close eye on fuel pressure. We have three fuel pumps which is plenty but we just need to make sure they're doing their job.

I heard stg 3 is so fast that it will rip the chrome right off those wheels.

Are you guys going to warn him that the extra rwhp will probably rip off the eyebrows too?

That exhaust is huge...as is the rear tire....what size is that? Is that the HPF rim?

theres no way hpf will put asanti as there offical wheel.. they are way classier then that.

Asanti are really expensive rims but they r ugly!!!

I just noticed what brand they were...I missed the first video

Hey Chris would you consider a big brake kit as part of stage 3...or offer/refer/install a kit? Forgive me if there is common knowledge I have missed...

I ask because I don't trust the shops down here to do my brakes and also when i reach the stage 2 or 3 stage I will need to have it done anyway...just a thought..

If you seriously drive your car (ie lapping days, canyon carving, etc). you'll need big brakes by stage 2.

The stock brakes have really good stopping power for 3 or 4 big stops. After that the heat takes a toll and you start to lose braking power at a pretty good rate.

Hey Chris would you consider a big brake kit as part of stage 3...or offer/refer/install a kit? Forgive me if there is common knowledge I have missed....
