yes it will run straight off any 12v source. The relay is so you can have them always on and have the remote function. Also it makes the angels themselves a separate circuit so it's easier to troubleshoot later

Had work todya so I wasn't able to finish install... I got the t-tap from radioshack... gonna tap the accessory wire, set up remote function and then good to go
 Touched the trigger wire to the battery to see how it looks...and it's sickkkkk..will post pitures after im done |
