My Ride: chevy silverado
2008 528i

ok my mom has a 08 528i and when its parked every now and then it makes like a vibrating noise about 1 second long. can anyone tell me what this is? it sounds like its moving or opening something.

no i think i said it the wrong way. not when im parking it. it happens when it is just sitting in the garage

Just a guess, but it could be the auto-leveling of the headlights, check that out if it moves when you turn off your car.

could be your mom making sure she put the batteries in correctly in her brand new VIBRATOR!!!!!!!!!!!

that gave me an awful picture in my head. wow ok enough with the vibrators but anyways when it does it it will do it like a few times like if im out in the garage fartin around it will do it like every 25 or 30 minutes so

well its a 2008......... take it to the dealer and have them check it out

warranty is still in place so you don't have to worry about paying for it...

tough to determine what it could be without hearing it in person ya know

Ive worked in several new 5 series and have heard this noise several times. However I have no idea as to what it is.

I know on M cars that noise is usually the hydrolics for the SMG, i dunno why a non M 5er would make that noise
