Replacing Hydraulic A/C Tensioner Pulley

How do you R&R the Hydraulic A/C tensioner pulley. I got the part (#11281748131) from the dealer and went to replace but couldn't get the old one off. After removing the dust-cap, I wrenched on the nut with a torx bit. When I turn it clock-wise it loosens the tension but should I turn it counter-clockwise to remove it?

There's no hydraulic tensioner for the A/C belt. Were you talking about the tensioner pulley for the engine belt (for water pump, alternator, power steering pump)? Others just call it the serpentine belt. The part number you mentioned is the pulley for the hydraulic tensioner of the engine belt. Yes, it gets confusing at times ...

If you were trying to service the tensioner pulley for the A/C belt, then you'll have to replace the whole tensioner. There's no replacement just for the pulley.

And yes, CCW using AFAIK Torx T-45 or T-50, not an allen wrench.
