My Ride: 2000 328Ci
video: 328ci w/ active autowerke exhaust

Hey, so this is my first post. Been browsing here since i got the car.

My car is a '00 328ci. I put on a k&n intake, and then followed that with the active autowerke exhaust. The exhaust was nice but very mild sounding. Most people had no idea the car had an exhaust system on it.

So after doing some reading on here I decided to do the rear resonator delete. I just finished the job, so here is a quick video of it.

Hope this helps anyone else considering the system.

very much so, now that i did the resonator delete.

outside the car it sounds very good IMO. pretty aggressive but not overly loud.
inside with the windows down you can here it quite a bit during acceleration.
inside with the windows up it is heard very minimally. which is perfect.

Here's a quick acceleration run.

One down side I'd have to point out is the size of the muffler. It gets very close to the inside of the rear tire on my car. I can't even fit one finger in-between the gap.
I'm running 245 rears on the bmw staggered wheels. I'd have to say with this setup 255's or wider would definatly rub the muffler. Of course different rim widths and offsets would vary this a little.

Nice!

about the rubbing issue, have you checked the clearance between your tire inner fender wall? It's probably even closer than that of the muffler...
