Yes I know, this is my second(?) thread, but im sooo close to going with this one.

It is just so clean, title squeaky clean (carfax), only two owners, and has the sports package. This is honestly the cleanest 99 M3 I've seen (except for the repainted few). Went and saw it, and made sure everything worked, and everything did. I assume it had been sitting on the lot for 4 days or so without being started, but it started right up no problem and sounded great. The only thing that slightly concerned me was the shifting (parked with the engine running). It wasnt butter smooth changing between all gears and was a little rough. Could this be because of it sitting for awhile without running? If not could it just be a bushing or something with the linkage? Any thoughts on this? The dealer said they inspect everything thouroughly and replace everything and anything before selling it, and if it was a trade in car the previous owner probably was a very good one seeing as this was a lambo dealership, but who knows. Anyways, lets hear some ideas! What should I be paying for this beauty, KBB says 15.8 from what I recall for excellent condition but I dont remember fully. Thanks guys!

Get a PPI done.

I`d pass..for a couple grand more you can get a e46 M3

+1 on the e46 M. Difference is worth a few grand more.

Yup, but that'll have 100+ miles on it for under 20k, and even though the E46 m is my dream, I still want to go with the E36 for a little bit, dont ask why, sometimes I even question myself . Part of the reason being that the E46 requires a ton of maintenence, not saying the E36 doesnt, but it seems like the parts and stuff Ive seen online are a little cheaper for the E36 too, correct me if im wrong.

Im starting to think about going the E46 route cause I have now actually started looking for a few . What would you pay for this one?

I may go see it this weekend. I was offered a mere 15k trade in for my car over the phone, and they seem pretty firm about their price. Notice the radio, is it missing / stolen? I cant tell. The shifter is also very worn, and there seems like some scuffs on the front passenger tire well (bad camera?) but anyways seems nice for 19k. Also the carfax report says the last mileage reported was 99,981 but how come the odometer reads 99,979? Rollback fraud? Ive attatched the carfax report PDF on this post. Carfax also reports only one owner which is a plus. Thanks guys.
