2nd gear doesn't work

i was driving today and heard a bang when i was shifting into second, i went to third and fourth, then to fifth. When i was down shifting and went into second i got no power. I would like to know if i have to replace the clutch, tranny or what, and how much will it cost?

Does your transmission sound like a blender full of metal.

sounds like a donezo tranny. look for a used 5spd to throw in there if ur hard for $, otherwise look to upgrade to 6spd.
