+1!
This is definitely one of the best kits for any brake upgrade. You will have a stronger bite along with less brake dust and better pedal feel. Let me know if you guys would like a full quote!

Does anyone knows if the rear brake pads from a E39 will fit the E46?

you are in CA, if you use Pelican Parts you will have the stuff within a day or so since they are in LA.

I got new front and rear rotors - oem style zimmermans along with ss lines, new sensors, ATE blue, etc from Pelican.

I did order the Pagid Reds from Bavauto. So far I really like the setup. I prepainted the rotor hub with black engine paint first so it won't look so rusty.

I think getting cross drilled rotors, etc is overkill for these cars and is mostly for bling. For $50-70 per rotor the stock rotors are absolutely fine. The other thing is that nobody seems to realize here is that if you use race pads you will squeak like shyte until they are ready to go and heated. Go to a HPDE, SCCA or ALMS race and listen for yourself, those mothers squeak like mad.
