they are a little. They are 2nd gear pulls. I start at about 3000rpm in second gear in those vids so I need to wait for boost, the supercharged guys are in it sooner. If these were 3rd gear pulls where I have traction it would be alot different.

It's not crazy to see the S/Cer guys hang with the HPF cars on pump. The HPF cars are only running 5.5-6psi on low boost. Nice and safe. Then hit the switch and BAM!!

Didn't think it would be those results or outcome, sick cars though, they all seem solid!

Thanks for the vids! That IS the outcome I would expect when the VF car has 3.91 gearing and 100 octane plus starting in 2nd gear.

I like the hpf2 vs hpf2+meth race. LAWLZ!

Biggest suprise for me was the hpf2 v hpf2 left car definately gets away.

The SC cars will always have the edge lower down as its instant, no lag and i guess for tracking and quick street runs it makes it a better option - not a dig as love HPF stuff - it's just purely an observation based on the vids

They definitely have the throttle response. I think HPF needs to include a "brake boosting for dummies" manual with each turbo kit though...

the only reason boost takes a while is we have to start in 3rd gear vs 2nd gear for the VF cars and 3.91 gears that one of them had.... if we had traction we would start in the same gear and it would be much different...traction is the biggest problem. im off to get some drag radials soon lol

I understand that the top of 2nd won't hook up, but that doesn't mean you can't brake boost in 3rd.

Step 1: Floor the accelerator in 3rd
Step 1.5: hold your speed steady with your left foot riding the brake while boost builds
Step 2: lift your left foot off the brake on the 3rd honk and take off at full boost...

Pretty sure it will trip the ecu out, I know on the Porsche turbos it does.

Does the owner of this HPF turbo car have a LWFW? It could help a GREAT DEAL. I just ran a Z06 with 125 shot and some bolt ons in my GT2 and pulled him from the get go, as I do with my friends supercharged viper too... All depends how the car is setup and managing throttle waiting for that honk, of course bigger turbos play a big roll, but mine aren't small by any means.

I'm very curious to drive one of these turbo M's, itching me hah... I'm sure they are fast as hell!

Will it? Damn drive by wires...

edit: that makes no sense -- porsche, a marque known for track cars, doesn't let you left foot brake???

Yeah, but the turbo cars make much more boost alot faster than the supercharged cars. So while the S/C cars may have boost a little quicker it's nowhere as much boost at the same rpm as the HPF cars make.

Nice vids, that's at elevation too, which gives the edge to the turbo cars...
