Exclusive Sedan Owner Only Thread !!!
IF you don't own a sedan GIT OUT
Just wondering what all you sedan drivers have done mod wise and how you like it. I'm especially interested in hearing from anyone that has the H&R Cup Kit with a 18x8.5 wheel and 235 40/18 rubbers.......... any rubbing ?!??!? Links to pics...... How about rear spoilers...... what you guys/ladies hooked up with off the back. I'm considering the i piece AC-S but may spend more to get into the 3 piece. I own a 2000 328i sedan with sport in a 5-spd. I haven't done a lot........ I installed the UUC ultimate short shift kit which is awesome and a set of 18" Breyton Magics 18x8.5 all the way around with Kumho 712 235 40/18 rubbers. I'm considering doing the suspension......... although the sport suspension is really not that bad performance and cosmetics wise. I have more come....... aluminum trim squirrelled away in my basement and I have another set of front kidney grills that I'm going to black out to match the black car....... which is being a pain to keep clean....... but looks awesome when it is. That's it for now....... post away |

3 posts and 3 black sedans............ hmmmmmm.
Thanks for posting your links to your mods............ however, any thoughts on those mods.......... some you like and others that you may not so much!!??!?!? And if you had to do certain things again, what would you change or not do???? I guess I'm trying to see if we can post up some info regarding the sedans for people just starting out on the mods....... what to watch out for and what things are great additions. CLEM, those gauges, where did you get them from and how much???? I'm in Toronto Canada and I'm in need of changing my gauge faces.......... and need a reference. Thanks. |

![]() http://www.vfive.com/~mark/toptene46/sedan as for sedans with cup kits, i'd keep my eye on the board, there was a groupbuy on a week or two ago so as people recieve their kits and put them on we should see some posts about it. |

my next mod (when it comes in) are the cup kits and front and rear stress bars.... i'm also deciding to put dinan or ecis/conforti for the CAI and software.... next after that is 6 piece hamann kit... i got 19 inch hartges on and a 12 disc cd changer, 6 disc dvd changer with the alpine cva-1006 monitor/tuner... hamman knob, UUC SSK and blacked out grills... and of course clears all around... i'm soo poor.

Your right, everyone seems to have a different opinion. I'm pretty sure that the performance gains are all about the same, I went with ECIS becuase it was cheeper and I hope to have it Sharked in the next couple of months.

Make your own CAI........ I did it with the previous car I owned (Acura Vigor GS 5-spd) with a K&N and it worked great. It went down into the driver's side fender well. Someone on the board is experimenting with the factory air box. My only concern is any sensors attached to the air intake......... I haven't had the time to research this one out yet. I will likely make my own CAI.
All I can say is with those sales on this board, it's so tempting to spend money............ but the thing is to spend it wisely and what's the things it should be spent on first Exhaust Suspension (considering the fact that I alreay have the factory sport package) Front lip Rear spoiler Need to win the lottery so I can do it all at once |

I love every mod that I've done to mine!
Every mod that I have done I love. Had a few problems with the supercharger, but that because I got it from ESS in Norway. Also it takes for ever when products have to come from Germany. I'm still waiting on my Aluminum Steering Wheel and they said it could possibly take to a year to get it from Germany. Here's a link to photos of my Sedan and a list of mods:
http://www.digitaldistortion.com/16Niss_web/bmw.html [ engine / performance ] • 2.5L Supercharged Inline 6 [ 300 HP ] • Vortech Supercharger [ 7 psi ] • Dinan Carbon Fiber Valve Cover • Dinan Carbon Fiber Fuel Rail Cover • Dinan Front Strut Brace • Aluminum Oil Cap • Bavarian Tri-Flow Exhaust • H&R Racing Springs 1.3 Drop [ Front ] .75 Drop [ Rear ] • Stillen Cross Drilled Rotors / Pads • Custom NOS System [ 55 Shot ] [ interior ] • Harmon Kardon 12 Speaker Stereo System • (2) Audiobahn Aluminum 12” Subwoofers • Audiobahn 800W Amp • Audiobahn 1.0 Farad Digital Capacitor • Aluminum Dash Trim • Aluminum Shift Knob • Aluminum E-Brake Handle • Aluminum Steering Wheel • AC Schnitzer Aluminum Racing Pedals • AC Schnitzer Aluminum Dead Pedal • Aluminum Gauges • Hamann Floor Mats [ exterior ] • Hamann Full Body Kit [ Front / Rear Apron, Side Skirts ] • Hamann Rear Wing • Hamann Roof Wing • Hamann Eyebrows • Hamann Pre-Spoilers • Hamann Sport Mirrors • Hamann PG2 Rims 18 x 8.5 [ Front ] 18 x 9 [ Rear ] • Pirelli P7000 Supersport Tires 225 / 40 ZR18 [ Front ] 265 / 35 ZR18 [ Rear ] • Carbon Fiber Emblems • Xenon Headlights • Demon Eye Mod • Red / Clear Tail Lights • Clear Corners • Clear Side Markers • Red Calipers • Painted Exterior Trim |

As for the guages there were only 6 sets left in exsistence that were stubled upon by the PiX crew last fall and all were sold. There are a few place in Europe that migh have km/h only guage faces. |
