different springs in front and back

so my fronts low enough but i want lower in the back, can i just change the rear springs to something else?

Yes you can, as long as the fronts are the same, and rears are the same, I don't see a problem. It's just like coilovers with different spring rates.

back in the early days of fanatics there was the jawknee setup (sp?)
it was basically e36 M3 springs in the rear if i remember correctly.

^ I believe they were H&R Race springs, E46 non-M in the front, and E36M in the rear.

The OP should get coils. Especially if he is considering mixing brands front to rear, that just seems silly!

Koven, You know the issues I am having with my iForged, so I am actually thinking of keeping my UUC v.2 fronts and putting in my stock sport spring in the rear. This will bring up the fender to the top of the tire and also firm up the spring rate so I won't rub. My UUC v.2 rears sit pretty low so if you're thinking about just getting new springs I will sell you mine for cheap. PM me if you want to talk more about it.

i'll probably get coils in the future but spending $1000+ to get my rear a little lower right now isn't worth it to me

so i'm guessing it's ok to mix springs

$1k for coilovers?? Check out the ST setup. I got mine installed for less then a grand!
