TY!
I got it from the hobby shop. it's the Testors Spray Lacquer: Transparent Black Window Tint. There were some other brands and styles there, like smoke, but I have no idea what it looks like. GL on doing yours!

will these angel eyes work with the facelift styles with the rotating headlights? also, what do they plug into?

Ya.. I believe all facelifts w/ xenons are adaptive or w/e. Nothing rotates but the bulb inside from what I know, maybe i'm wrong, but nothing in the headlight itself moves.
The wiring instructions are in one of the links on the first page.

Talking Wow.

are there any specific angel eyes / halo rings to buy? which are best?

How did you smoke your lens? could this be done on the whole headlamp?

Regards

You can use Laminex or w.e to smoke your whole headlight, its a much cleaner look for the outside than spray tint.

i like the spray tint. i personally think the spray tint looks better, IF you can do it right.

I ordered CF wrap to do my eyelids and other misc parts on my car and accidentally received laminex smoke film. They told me to keep it and will ship the correct product today. I guess I'll have to try and see if I like smoked tails now...

follow this diy to bake the headlights to get to the corner pieces. Then smoke them with tint spray, and put it back

just one question: dont your headlights get fogged up now? I cant imagine heating them will do any good.

no, they only get fogged up if you don't seal them up correctly.

if you are referring to the temperature difference between inside the headlight and outside the headlight, then that is also a no. because all headlights are not completely sealed (whether by clips or glue). they have openings in the back to compensate for the differences in temp and pressure to have everything equalized.

I really really liked the idea of smoking the lights, so I did that too. Thanks for the Idea Leo!

I promised to post some pictures, so here they are!
