it's not 58k for just 100 hp. You actually get a brand new 5.7L v-10 engine. and other goodies

Dinan S3-M6 Includes: Dinan 5.7L V-10 Engine; Engine Management Software; Free Flow Exhaust; Cold Air Intake; High Flow Air Mass Meter/Intake Assembly; High Flow Throttle Bodies; Stage 2 Suspension System; Carbon Fiber Front Strut and Rear Shock Braces; Dinan/Brembo 4-Wheel Brake Conversion; Dinan Pedal Pads; Dinan Deck Lid Badge; Serial Numbered Dinan-S3 Plaque

no doubt it's expensivebut you do get a good bit of stuff

very true, but if I'm dropping $150+K on a car, I'm buying something more exotic than a BMW

you could get a gt3, would handle better, be faster, and you still have like 15k to spend on hookers and cheap champagne.....

+1 on the GT3, my fav Porsche.
If u want more GT2 FTW, but that R8 has appeal like nothing with 4 rings ever has before.

I saw a Neiman Marcus M6. I couldn't tell the difference between it and the stock M6. Worthless.

As for the upgrade to the M6 and the S85 engine, I've heard that it's worth every penny. For 100 naturally aspirated horsepower with a warranty, it's hard to beat. What's cool is that Dinan is coming out with a stroker kit for the S65 motor for the new M3.
Is it insanely expensive? Yes. But it's one of those things where if you REALLY want it, it's not going to matter how much it will cost.
